No Longer An Offering For Sin

After arguing that Christ's sacrifice was effective in taking away sin, he then declares the effect of that sacrifice. Christ sat down at the right hand of God until all His enemies are made His footstool. Because His sacrifices was effectual, His enemies will be defeated and not just in those who believe. It starts with those who believe as He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. God does this by writing His law in our minds and on our hearts, so that He can rightly forgive us our sins and lawless deeds. Since His sacrifice is effectual in taking away sins, there is no need for another offering for those sins.
