Heritage Reformed Presbyterian - Luke 21:5-38
Sermon Title: Temples Falling and Rising
Theme: The true beauty of the Lord's Temple is her inner holiness and devotion to God.
The Jewish people boast in the earthly temple's external adornments.
Christ prophesies the coming destruction of this external adorning due to internal wickedness.

Grace Church - Luke 2:1-17; Micah 4:8
Was Jesus born at Migdal Eder (Tower of the Flock)? How did the shepherds know where to go to find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger? Were they "priestly" shepherds?

Paul stands before an angry mob of people who had just lied about him, attempted to beat him to death, and were now baying for his blood.
How does he respond?
Today we arrive in Ezekiel 33 which is a stark reminder to live according to God's word, and be faithful to the calling that God has for us. We are responsible for our actions as well as our beliefs, and God will call us to account. Listen to this important message to see how to be faithful in this life.

John the Baptizer is an example of godly humility and a symbol of the Old Covenant age that was coming to an end. The dawning of the Kingdom in Christ Jesus was the beginning of Age-Enduring Life.

The Cold-Water Committee from Judaea_11 Acts 15:1-35 The Life of the Apostle Paul Men from Judea (The Cold-water Committee) came to Antioch teaching the necessity of circumcision and keeping the Law. Paul and Barnabas disputed this, and the decision was made to send them to Jerusalem to talk with the apostles and elders. Along the way, Paul and Barnabas described the conversion of the Gentiles which caused great joy.
At Jerusalem Paul and Barnabas first reported to the whole church. When Pharisees who were believers said that circumcision and keeping the Law of Moses were necessary, the apostles and elders met to discuss the issue further. After much dispute, Peter spoke of how God chose him to be the first to preach the gospel to the Gentiles, how God acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, and how God made no distinction, purifying their hearts through faith. Peter thus questioned why they should put a yoke on the Gentiles that even they themselves were unable to bear. Rather, by the grace of the Lord both Jews and Gentiles could
be saved in the same manner. Barnabas and Paul again reported the miracles and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.James, the Lord's brother, offered Amos' prophecy in support of what Peter said. He then recommended they not trouble the Gentiles, but that a letter be written asking them to abstain from things offered to idols, blood, things strangled, and sexual immorality. The apostles and elders, with the whole church, agreed to send the letter, and to have Judas and Silas accompany Paul and Barnabas to confirm its authenticity. The letter, approved by the Holy Spirit, was delivered and received in Antioch.

New Heart, New Spirit_33 Ezekiel 37:1-28A spirit of hopelessness gripped the Jewish exiles being held captive in Babylon. The Babylonians had totally destroyed their nation, including Jerusalem and the temple, and devastated their land. This passage is an amazing message of hope to all who feel hopeless. God gives to Ezekiel this vision of the valley of dry bones to let the people know that there is hope and that there is a future for Israel. We are going to see that God promises that one day Israel will be restored to their land. They would experience a resurrection. Ezekiel actually saw a valley full of scattered dry bones that were gathered together, given new flesh, and brought back to life. Only the power of God could accomplish such a phenomenal event. Do you know what will give life to a church? Do you know what will give life in your Bible class or in marriage or family where you are?The word of God, prayer, and the Spirit of God. When the Messiah returns to set up God's kingdom on earth, the Holy Land will be the seat of God's government .). God's temple will be built in Jerusalem, and a very special manifestation of His presence will dwell there with His people forever. God will be their God, and they will be His people.

Antioch Baptist Church - Sunday - PM
Pastor Josh Davis shares highlights of his recent trip to Israel and Jordan with SWRC to film several Bible teaching projects.

Jesus is the Lamb of God due our trust and praise as He is God's appointed substitute for us.

Theme: Jesus offers peace with God, but for those who do not receive Him, there are consequences.
In vv. 41-42, Jesus weeps over the people's rejection. He saw the city full of people who were in great need of reconciliation with God but who would not believe in Him. They were only concerned with their desire for earthly peace. In application, we need to make sure we have peace with God. In vv. 43-44, Jesus affirms the consequences to come. God is indeed sovereign, but people are indeed responsible. We need to make sure that we don't waste our opportunities to know Christ. In conclusion, do we see people as God sees them, as people with eternal souls? Do we care for those who are lost without Christ? Do we personally have peace with God? Let us live with our focus on eternity.

Eager Avenue Grace Church - Revelation 3:7-13
Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Paul and the team head to Jerusalem to meet the church there. They are received with warmth by the brethren, but not so much by the unbelievers.
David wanted to bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, but he went about it the wrong way. God justifiably disciplined Uzzah for violating the holiness of God.
