Paul's & Barnabas Accountability to the Local Church_10 Acts 14:21-28 There is terrible neglect in both evangelism and strengthening the church. Paul and Barnabas spent a long time in Antioch reviving their spirits, and no doubt they were also ministering to the believers.there are two great ministries in the church.The of preaching the gospel and making disciples, and that of strengthening the church. Strengthening and making true disciples of believers are much more difficult than leading them to Christ. The true believer passes through many trials and afflictions while entering into the Kingdom of God. Paul and Barnabas were busy, as busy as they could be moving about and preaching the Word. They were just as busy in following up and strengthening the churches as they had been in establishing them.when Paul and Barnabas returned to the mother church of Antioch.The church was called together for the most glorious missionary meeting imaginable, the very first missionary report ever given to a mother church.Ministers, preachers, and missionaries—all are to be mere instruments in the hand of God.

When Moses descended from Mount Sinai and saw the idol-worship of the Israelites, he cried 'Who is on the Lord's side?' This question is still relevant for all men today.

Have you ever been in a relationship with anyone that continually looks beyond your dirt, persisting with their plan to keep you anyway, forever? Paul continues to show why anyone thinking that salvation by grace alone through the finished work of Christ alone embraced by faith or believe alone means "sin all you want and still have remission" is heresy! It shows they have not understood what being baptized into Christ's death means! How many who have been baptized or sprinkled show they they have not believed it? Do you?

The lost person seems to continually be tripping over Jesus Christ. He is a stumbling stone to the unbeliever and is on a collision course with the Lord.

Pastor McKinnon expounds the scriptures relating the duty of Christian believers to pray for one another.

What do we mean when we say that the church is organism? We know that organism have power and purpose and so should the local church!

Such is the provision which God hath made through Christ in the covenant of grace for the preservation of believers unto salvation, that although there is no sin so small but it deserves damnation; yet there is no sin so great that it shall bring damnation upon them who truly repent; which makes the constant preaching of repentance necessary.

In the dull description of genealogy in Genesis 5, Enoch outshines for being a man who walked with God. What does it mean to walk with God? Can we modern Christians walk with God? This expositional sermon calls and challenges believers to imitate this man of faith. May the Lord build His church!
