Our English Bible
6 Sermons

In this series, we are exploring the history of the Church's calling to make the Bible accessible to the common man, as we observe in the 8th paragraph of WCF Ch. 1 "They are to be translated into the vulgar language of every nation unto which they come, that, the Word of God dwelling plentifully in all, they may worship Him in an acceptable manner;"

Translation history, as well as the work and lives of reformers such as John Wycliff and William Tyndale are reviewed in this series as we set the stage for the 16th century Reformation and grow in appreciation for the written Word.
